Rockford IceHogs News Release

Grand Rapids, Mich.- Following the All-Star Break the Rockford IceHogs had the daunting task of playing 22 of their final 34 games on the road. Halfway through that 22 game road schedule the IceHogs have put together an 8-2-0-1 record away from the Rockford MetroCentre.

Tonight Rockford hits the road once again and travels to the Van Andel Arena to take on the Grand Rapids Griffins at 6 p.m. The game marks the final in a four-game road swing.

The IceHogs have not lost in regulation on the road in their last five games (4-0-0-1) a season high that dates back to Feb. 11. Rockford's penalty kill is also streaking as the unit has not given up a power-play goal in its last four games, also a season best.

Defenseman Jordan Hendry will make his return to the line up tonight for Rockford after missing the past 10 games with a finger injury. Jack Skille will also be back in an IceHogs uniform after a two-game stay in Chicago.

In three games this season Rockford is 1-1-0-1 against Grand Rapids including a 6-5 shootout loss in their last match up in Grand Rapids against the Griffins. Tonight's game is the final in the four game season series.

To listen to tonight's game tune into 1330 AM, WNTA or listen on-line at www.icehogs.com. The game can also be viewed on-line through www.icehogs.com through AHL Live for just $7. Fans can also catch the game at SportsPage in Rockford off of Alpine and Broadway.
