In Tuesday's AHL action, Juraj Simek tallied the game-winning goal and added an assist as Norfolk ended Bridgeport's 11-game points streak with a 3-1 win over the Sound Tigers... Ryan Russell scored 2:25 into overtime to send Hamilton to a 3-2 win at Syracuse.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Providence begins a four-game trek through the North Division on Wednesday against Toronto in its first-ever visit to Ricoh Coliseum... The Bruins are 9-3-0-2 in their last 14 games but hold just a two-point lead on Hartford atop the Atlantic Division... Bruins rookie Brad Marchand brings a seven-game scoring streak (3-8-11) into Wednesday's action and ranks second among AHL first-year pros with 49 points overall (15-34-49)... Martin St. Pierre has eight points (1-7-8) in his last six AHL games and tallied two points (1-1-2) and a pair of shootout goals in the Bruins' 4-3 win over Toronto on Dec. 19... Johnny Boychuk leads Providence and all AHL defensemen with 51 points (16-35-51) in 60 games... Jiri Tlusty, the CCM/AHL Player of the Month for February, has racked up 28 points (14-14-28) in his last 14 games for the Marlies... Jeremy Williams has a point in seven of eight games (6-4-10) since being reassigned by the parent Maple Leafs... Defenseman Anton Stralman shows six points (3-3-6) in his last two contests... Toronto is looking to curb a three-game losing skid at home.
Binghamton continues a six-game road swing tonight against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza... The B-Sens enter six points back of the Penguins for third place in the East Division... Peter Regin has a goal in four straight games (6-2-8) and a point in nine straight (6-9-15) for the Senators... Binghamton rookie defenseman Mattias Karlsson is on a 12-game scoring run (1-16-17) and ranks second on the Senators with 42 points overall (5-37-42)... Sens captain Denis Hamel has a point in 15 of his last 17 contests (12-10-22) and shows four goals and five points in five games against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season... Binghamton has the AHL's top-ranked power play at 23.7 percent... The Penguins are looking to avoid their first three-game winless skid since Nov. 22-26... Janne Pesonen is on a three-game scoring streak (1-2-3) for the Pens and shows six points (4-2-6) in four games against Binghamton for the campaign... Jeff Taffe leads the Pens with 57 points (19-38-57) for the season but has just one point, an assist, in his last six contests... Four points out of a playoff spot in the West Division, Iowa travels to Milwaukee on Thursday for the second of three straight games against the first-place Admirals... The Chops snapped a nine-game winless skid with a 2-1 victory over Milwaukee in Des Moines on Saturday... Rookie Ryan Dingle's seventh goal of the season was the game-winner in that tilt... Troy Bodie has recorded three points (2-1-3) in his last three games for the Chops, who are beginning a six-game road swing on Thursday... T.J. Trevelyan paces the Chops with 37 points (19-18-37) on the season but has been held to two points (1-1-2) in seven games against Milwaukee... The Admirals' Patric Hornqvist has netted a goal in four straight games (4-1-5) overall and shows eight points (3-5-8) in seven match-ups with Iowa for the campaign... AHL All-Star Mike Santorelli snapped a five-game scoring drought with a pair of assists against the Chops on Saturday... Milwaukee has the AHL's best penalty-killing unit at 86.3 percent but went just 1-for-3 (33.3%) in Sunday's 3-2 win over Houston.
