
Hitmen Drop Penultimate Game to Edmonton

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings scored six unanswered goals en route to a 6-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday afternoon at Rogers Place.
Scott Atkinson led the Oil Kings with a pair of goals while Vince Loschiavo, Josh Williams, Jake Neighbours and Conner McDonald added singles.
The victory clinches the Central Division crown for Edmonton.
Mark Kastelic, in the first period, tallied the lone goal for Calgary. It was Kastelic's team-leading 47th of the season, becoming the first Hitmen to reach that mark since Adam Tambellini netted 47 goals during the 2014-15 campaign.
Calgary now returns home for the rematch with the Oil Kings tomorrow, Sunday, Mar. 17 in the regular season finale at Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 2:00 p.m. for the Hitmen Pre-Game Player Awards, Fan Appreciation presented by Vision Travel and Sunday Funday presented by Ricky's All Day Grill.
Activities include face painters, giveaways and a post-game family skate that is FREE with a game ticket. There is also a post-game autograph session for fans in the Chrysler Club. Sunday Funday features a specially priced $9.99 ticket for kids 12 and under and a $14.99 ticket for adults (plus applicable fees and taxes).
Fan Appreciation prizing is highlighted by a Trip for 2 to the Crown Paradise Golden resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Fans can enter to win at the Vision Travel concourse booth. There is also a FanAttic Shopping Spree to be won in addition to 60 food vouchers that will be given away throughout the game.
