Americans Fall 5-3 to Chiefs in Final Regular Season Home Game

The Tri-City Americans faced the Spokane Chiefs tonight for their regular season home finale.

Both teams were off to a hot start and stayed close the whole game.

The Chiefs scored two goals in the first, but so did Tri-City Americans, Roman Kalinichenko and Parker AuCoin. Headed into the second period tied up 2-2.

Chiefs, Luke Toporowski takes the lead with his goal at 13:18 in the second. 3-2.

AMS, Krystof Hrabik, tied the game up once again in the third at 2:35.

Chiefs respond with two goals to insure the win tonight.

Final score: 5-3 AMS

The Americans will face the Everett Silvertips in the first round of the 2019 WHL Playoffs. Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 18th at 10:00 AM at the Toyota Center Box Office.
