
Hendriks Dazzles Again in Snapper Loss

The Beloit Snappers end the first home series of the 2010 season on a bad note as Robert Whitenack and company shut out the Snappers 1-0 Tuesday night at Pohlman Field.
The lone run came in the top of the seventh for the Chiefs when Matt Cerda scored on a sac fly as Justin Bour flew out to center field. Whitenack went six innings and gave up four hits to the Snappers in his second win of the season for the Chiefs.
Liam Hendriks once again shined as he pitched six innings while striking out five batters in a no-decision. In his second start of the season Hendriks earns the "Brodie Trophy Player of the Game" honors for the second time this season.
Steven Liddle continued his hot hitting as he went 2-4 on the night brining his season average to .318.
The Snappers will hit the road for a three-game set with the Kane County Cougars. The Snappers will come back to Pohlman Field this coming Saturday April, 17th at 4:00PM against the Clinton Lumberkings. It will be Woodman's Mac N' Cheese Saturday night as fans can bring in a box of Mac N' Cheese and receive a $1.00 off a regular priced adult admission ticket.
