
Hartford Wolf Pack Head into 10th Straight Playoff Run, Facing the Providence Bruins

Hartford, CT, April 15, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the club will face the Providence Bruins in the Atlantic Division Semi-Finals of the 2007 Calder Cup playoffs. Hartford will host Games 1 and 2, Wednesday, April 18th and Friday, April 20th, both at 7:00 PM at the Hartford Civic Center. See full schedule below. Tickets are on sale NOW.
The 2007 Calder Cup Playoffs begin with the Division Semi-Finals, which matches up the first-place team with the fourth-place team and the second-place team with the third-place team in each division. The Division Finals then match up the winners of each Division Semi-Final. From there, the series winners advance to the Conference Finals and the winners of the Conference Finals meet in the Calder Cup Finals. All series are a best-of-seven format.
The 2000 Calder Cup-winning Hartford Wolf Pack are headed into their 10th consecutive playoff berth (1997-2007) and join the Hershey Bears (1938-49) and the Montreal/Nova Scotia Voyageurs (1969-84) as the only teams in AHL history to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs in each of their first 10 or more seasons.

Additionally, tickets are on sale at the Hartford Civic Center Box Office (Hours: Mon-Fri, Noon - 5 p.m.). Individual tickets for the first round are available for as little as $9.50 for youth 16 and under and $18.00 for adults. Playoff ticket strips (all 16 possible home games) are on sale now and can be purchased through the Wolf Pack ticket office at (860) 548-2000. Prices start as low as $214.40 for adults and $123.20 for youth 16 and under.
