
Amerks Announce Calder Cup Playoff Practice Schedule

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans secured home-ice advantage tonight for the 2007 North Division Semifinal against the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Amerks earned a
2-1 win over the Bulldogs in a playoff preview.
Rochester (48-30-1-1, 98 points) finished the season in second place in the North Division, which was three points ahead of the third-place Hamilton Bulldogs (43-28-3-6, 95 points). The best-of-seven series begins on Thursday, April 19th at 7:05 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
Rochester is making its 17th playoff appearance in the last 18 years. The Amerks have a 4-0 playoff series record against Hamilton, which includes four-game sweeps in 2004 and 2005. The 10-game season series in 2006-07 ended with each team winning five games.
