
Hanson Loaned to Worcester, Schwartz Assigned to Allen by San Jose

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today they have loaned forward Greger Hanson to the Americans AHL Affiliate, the Worcester Sharks . In another transaction, the Americans get forward Rylan Schwartz, who has been assigned to Allen by the Americans NHL affiliate the San Jose Sharks.
Greger Hanson is tenth in the ECHL in scoring this season with 12 goals and 13 assists, for 25 points in 22 games for Allen. The native of Lidingo, Sweden, is in his second season with Allen. He leads the ECHL with three shorthanded goals and is second overall in the league in plus/minus at +20.
"I'm really excited to get this opportunity, and I am going to make the most of it," said Hanson. "I have been very fortunate to play on such a great team this year in Allen, and I believe it has been a big factor in my success. Playing for Coach Martinson who has won many championships in his career, and developed many good players has helped me to grow as a hockey player. Hopefully I can make a good impression in Worcester, and serve as another example why Allen is the best place to play in AA hockey."
Hanson returned to Allen last weekend after playing one game with the Oklahoma City Barons last Friday night. That was his first ever American Hockey League game. In 145 professional games, Hanson has 56 goals and 72 assists for 128 points.
Rylan Schwartz, comes to Allen, having played in 99 games in the American Hockey League with the Worcester Sharks. Schwartz had five points in 19 games this season with Worcester. The native of Wilcox, Saskatoon played three years at Colorado College from 2009-2010 through 2012-2013.

The Allen Americans are the proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks and the AHL's Worcester Sharks. The Americans have qualified for the post-season five straight years and won two Central Hockey League Championships, in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.
