
Gueller pitches Cutters past Ironbirds

Jiandido Tromp hit his second homer in as many days, his eleventh homer of the year, a solo shot leading off the fourth inning to make it 1-0 Cutters.
Cutters starting pitcher Mitch Gueller (5-2) went the first five innings scattering three hits and struck out three in picking up his fifth win of the season.
Wilson Garcia doubled in the seventh inning and scored on a Derek Campbell single to left that was bobbled allowing Garcia to score to make the final 2-0.
Jesen Therrien had two perfect innings of relief and Calvin Rayburn picked up his sixth save with six outs of work.
The Cutters have won back to back games to stay within three games of the wild card lead.
