Greenville Grrrowl News Release

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl of the East Coast Hockey League on Thursday traded defenseman SHAUN FISHER to the Trenton Titans (ECHL) for right winger MIKE HENDERSON. Last season, Henderson recorded 17 goals, 18 assists, 35 points and 40 penalty minutes in 72 regular season games with the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL). The 22-year old Mississauga, Ontario native recorded 13 points in 19 games with Cincinnati this season before joining the Titans on December 3rd.

Grrrowl VP of Hockey Operations and Head Coach JOHN MARKS said, "With the loss of Jonathan Roy (Germany) and Mikko Sivonen (eye injury), we needed to get some offensive help. Henderson has excellent speed, good skills and a very good work ethic according to Malcolm Cameron who coached him in Cincinnati. He scored 31 goals and 68 points in his final junior season with the Barrie Colts, so we know he can put up some numbers."

The Grrrowl travel to Augusta tomorrow (Friday) to face the Lynx at 7:35 PM ( Newsradio 1330 & 950, WORD). The next home game is scheduled for this Sunday afternoon at 3:05 PM as the Grrrowl host the Pee Dee Pride (Post-game skate & family 4-packs available). Tickets are on sale at the BI-LO Center Box Officed and all TicketMaster outlets. Call (864) 467-GRRR or log onto www.grrrowl.com for more information.
