Van Hoof Runner Up As ECHLs December Plus Performer

Pensacola, FL - Pensacola Ice Pilots defenseman Jeremy Van Hoof has been named runner up as the C&T Hockey Products/ECHL December Plus Performer of the Month. Van Hoof was a +11 in the plus/minus category for the month of December which was second best in the league to Mississippis Stefon Walby +12. Van Hoof leads all ECHL defenseman with a +19 rating overall as he has the best plus/minus rating on the Ice Pilots team.
The Pensacola Ice Pilots only home game this week is Sunday vs. the Baton Rouge Kingfish at 5:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 5-0-1 vs. Baton Rouge this season and currently have a record of 17-11-4 for 38 points.
Chuckie from the Rugrats will be at the game on Sunday. It is Kids Day. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paid adult. Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com. The Ice Pilots will play at Baton Rouge tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. and play at Mississippi on Saturday night at 7:35 p.m. before returning home to play on Sunday.
