Growlers Announce Opening Night Roster

ST. JOHN'S, NL - The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Marlies and Toronto Maple Leafs, are proud to announce the club's 2019 opening night roster.
The Growlers roster consists of 23 players, including two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 13 forwards. Please see below for the full roster.
This season's squad features two veteran players and ten rookies. Of the 23 players on the roster, ten played for last season's Kelly Cup championship squad, including all three Newfoundlanders, captain James Melindy, playoff most valuable player Zach O'Brien and sniper Marcus Power.
The Growlers begin their second season against in the ECHL against the Reading Royals on Friday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Mile One Centre in St. John's.
