
Grizzlies Return Home: Lose To Vegas 3-2 in OT

The Utah Grizzlies (30-28-2-7) battled back from a 2-1 third period deficit but fell 3-2 in overtime to Las Vegas Wednesday night at the E-Center.
Garett Bembridge opened the game up giving the Grizzlies a 1-0 lead 6:13 into the first period. It was his 10th of the year with assists going to James Sanford and Ryan Kinasewich on the power-play. Las Vegas evened the score just over two minutes later when Peter Ferraro scored.
Las Vegas took a 2-1 lead in the second when Marco Peluso scored 8:42 in.
With just over five minutes left in the third, Kinasewich scored his 20th of the season from Ryan Cruthers and Rob Sirianni. Cruthers got his first professional point on the play in his first pro game.
Kinasewich, with one goal and one assist, capped off his team-leading 14th multi-point game of the year.
Just over two minutes into overtime Ferraro connected for his second of the game to give the Wranglers the 3-2 victory.
Wylie Rogers stopped 40 of 43 shots in the overtime loss.
The Grizzlies return to action Saturday and Monday in Bakersfield for 8:00 p.m. starts.
Utah returns to the E-Center next Thursday, Friday and Saturday to complete their regular season with Stockton.
