Grizzlies return home for fun-filled homestand Monday

Fresno, CA-The Fresno Grizzlies will begin an eight-game homestand against the Salt Lake Stingers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and the Portland Beavers, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, Monday night at 7:05 P.M. at Grizzlies Stadium. The Grizzlies have many exciting promotions to offer fans as the second half of the season is now underway.

Monday Madness, presented by Wienerschnitzel, returns Monday, July 18 and Monday, July 25, at 7:05 P.M. for each game. Fans can take advantage of a deal that offers two Field Level Reserved tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for only $14.

Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., returns on Tuesday, July 19, where fans can receive a 2-for-1 ticket voucher at any participating Carl's Jr. location redeemable at the Grizzlies Ticket Office. Wednesday, July 20, is another Wienie Wednesday, presented by Evergood Fine Foods where hot dogs can be purchased for just $1 throughout the ballgame. Both games get underway at 7:05 P.M.

Thursday, July 21, is action-packed with Thirsty Thursday, presented by 95.7 The FOX and 104.1 The Valley's Alternative Station, where all 12oz. beverages are only $1 through the fifth inning, and sodas staying at $1 throughout the entire game. Lou Seal, the San Francisco Giants' wild and crazy mascot, will make a guest appearance at Thursday's game for kids and adults to enjoy. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 P.M.

The Grizzlies and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District have teamed up for a special Kids' Replica Jersey T-Shirt giveaway for the first 1,500 children ages 12 and under at Friday night's 7:05 P.M. contest against the Beavers. The replica jersey t-shirts resemble the Grizzlies' home uniform tops.

Saturday, July 23, will be another exciting giveaway offer with the Wild Thing Pop-a-Jock giveaway, presented by Sierra Vista Mall. The first 2,500 fans will receive this unique item, which resembles a "Jack In The Box," but features Wild Thing and plays "Take Me Out To The Ball Game." Also, after the 7:05 P.M. contest, fans can take another crack at winning up to $500 in the Wild Fling promotion.

The Fresno Bee Family Day, presented by The Fresno Bee, returns on Sunday, July 24, for the 6:05 P.M. game. Families can spend a very affordable time at the ballpark with a $40 package that includes four Field Level Reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and a free movie rental from Hollywood Video.

The Fresno Bee Poster Series continues with the first 2,500 fans receiving a poster featuring All-Star catcher Yamid Haad. Two Grizzlies players will be signing autographs along the concourse prior to the game.

Special Event...The Fresno Grizzlies Baseball Camp will be held Wednesday July 20-Friday, July 22, from 9:00 A.M-12:00 P.M. Campers will receive instruction from Grizzlies manager Shane Turner along with players throughout the three-day camp. Registration is only $150, which includes lunch daily, a camp t-shirt, goodie bag and an awards luncheon with Grizzlies players, campers and families.
