
Bichette to Suit up for National League Legends

With a month left until the first pitch, the National League Legends squad received a big lift when former Colorado Rockies "Blake Street Bomber" Dante Bichette agreed to travel back to Colorado to play for the NL in the Mile High Sports Magazine "Legends Game," August 13th at newly-renovated Security Service Field (formerly known as Sky Sox Stadium) in northeast Colorado Springs - home of the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. A spectacular Firework Display choreographed to All-American music follows the Mile High Sports Magazine "Legends Game,"
Bichette will be joined by another new commit, former major league infielder Kevin Elster, who was recruited by American League Manager John Ashton . The Nationals will be piloted by Denver talk-show host Sandy Clough, who will replace colleague Irv Brown, who had to step aside due to a prior commitment. More player names will be release as the commit to attend.
Other events planned for the weekend include a Celebrity Charity Poker Night on Friday night, August 12th at the new banquet hall at the Stadium. On Saturday morning, there will be a special Legends For Youth baseball clinic for kids of all ages at Security Service Field. Also on Saturday morning, Gossage, Bichette and several other players will participate in a special autograph and memorabilia show at The Citadel Mall.
