Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies will try to end a three-game home losing streak tonight when they face the Houston Aeros at the 'E' Center. Utah has come away with victories in two of three meetings with Houston this season including splitting a pair of games in Utah.

Utah (6-12-1-2) has just returned from a four-game road trip where they went 2-2. The Grizzlies will have to improve their powerplay defense after giving up four shorthanded goals in their last three games. Jarrod Skalde continues to the lead the Grizzlies in scoring, adding four points in as many games. Antii Miettinen has also helped the scoring effort with three goals in Utah's last two outings.

Houston (5-12-2-2) is winless in its last seven tries (tying a franchise record) and is coming off a 3-1 home loss to Milwaukee on Monday. Rickard Wallin and Kyle Wanvig, who lead the Aeros in scoring, have both failed to score a point in Houston's last three contests.

Utah will play twice more at the 'E' Center this week facing the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks on Saturday and Sunday.
