Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies hope to put Saturday's 1-0 shutout behind them when the Hartford Wolf Pack returns today to the 'E' Center for a 1:05 pm (mst) face-off. Utah will look to find its offense against a team that is without a loss in its last eight games.
The Wolf Pack (23-12-6-1) proved on Saturday why they continue to stay on top of the Atlantic Division. A relentless defense shut down the Grizzlies while Player of the Week Jason LaBarbera sealed off the net. Utah managed only 16 shots on goal. The Grizzlies have struggled offensively throughout their last four games having been shutout twice and putting together only three goals.
Still, the Grizzlies (14-22-4-3) have stepped up their defense recently allowing only four goals in their last three games compared to the 14 scores allowed their four previous contests.
The Grizzlies will have their next four at home beginning on Friday when Chicago visits the 'E' Center.
