
Roy, Grenier Taking it to the Classroom

The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club is pleased to announce the appearance of forward Jimmy Roy and defenceman Martin Grenier in Winnipeg high schools this week.
Martin Grenier will be speaking to students at College Beliveau on Tuesday, January 20/04 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. As one of two francophone players on the Moose, Grenier will be talking to the francophone students about life as a hockey player at the AHL level.
Jimmy Roy will be addressing a small group of students at J.H. Bruns Collegiate as part of the Manitoba Securities Commission Test Your Financial IQ contest on January 22/ 04. Roy will speak to his own financial plans for the future as a hockey player to a group of Grade 12 students who've been asked to answer the question "It's your future. How are you going to pay for it?" He will speaking at 1:00 p.m. for about an hour.
