Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies can clinch a berth in the ECHL's Kelly Cup Playoffs with a win tonight in regulation when they host the Phoenix RoadRunners at the E-Center at 7:05 p.m. Utah defeated Phoenix last night 4-2.
The Grizzlies are proud to be the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders.
A win would extend the Grizzlies (27-25-6-10) home unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-0-1) and qualify them for the post-season for the third time in four years since joining the ECHL. In addition, a victory clinches their third season in the last four years with a record of at least .500.
After tonight, the Grizzlies have three games left in the regular season. They return to action Friday in Stockton before completing their home schedule Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 with Alaska.
