ROSTER UPDATE:
The Condors signed rookie G Jerad Kaufmann on Monday, who completed his college career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and placed him on 3-IR. He is eligible to be activated on Thursday. LW Bobby Bolt (30-IR) is eligible, but has not been activated.
PLAYOFF PICTURE:
The Condors got some help in the playoff race last night, and their magic number for clinching the playoffs fell to seven points with the Phoenix RoadRunners - currently the 9th place team in the conference - losing 4-2 to Utah. The magic number is decided by a combination of points gained and Phoenix points they fail to gain. Bakersfield officially took 3rd place in the division by themselves with Stockton's regulation loss to Victoria last night, thereby dropping them below .500. In addition, Alaska toppled Las Vegas, leaving the Wranglers only three points in front of the Condors in 2nd place in the Pacific Division. The Wranglers host Alaska again on Friday before traveling to Bakersfield on Saturday.
PROMOTIONAL NOTES:
Tonight is Blood Drive Night, sponsored by 107.9 KUZZ. Anyone who donated blood at either Houchin Blood Bank location during the month of March received a voucher good for $1 admission to tonight's game.
