Alaska took a 2-1 lead on a shorthanded goal 11:03 into the second period as the puck bounced off of a Grizzlies stick and Ryan Walters came back the other way as Utah worked on a four minute power-play.

The Aces added two goals late including an empty-netter with 17 seconds left to earn the 4-1 final.

Ryan Faragher stopped the first 20 shots and 27 of 30 overall in goal for Utah.
