Ontario, Calif - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, have had Loic Leduc reassigned to the Sound Tigers by the Islanders before the Thunder take on the Ontario Reign today.

Leduc, 20, is in his first professional season after finishing his QMJHL career with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles and Rimouski Oceanic. The 6'7=A1=E5 defenseman was drafted in the fourth round (103rd Overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Islanders.

The Chateauguay, Quebec native has played 25 games for the Thunder this season, scoring 3 goals and adding an assist. Leduc scored his first professional goal on October 18 against Ty Rimmer and the Bakersfield Condors.

Teddy Bear Toss is coming up soon for the Thunder as fans will be invited to bring stuffed animals to the game on January 24 and once the Thunder score their first goal, are invited to toss them out onto the ice where they will be distributed to children in need. For tickets to the game call (209) 373-1500 or visit StocktonThunder.com.
