TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (18-10-2-4) play their first home game of 2015 against the Stockton Thunder (13-20-1-0). The Reign have a light home schedule against the Thunder this season, having only hosted one prior home game (a 7-1 win on Nov. 11), with only four remaining. In total goals scored over the course of the season series, Ontario leads Stockton by a wide margin of 21-7.

COUTURE POISED TO MAKE HISTORY:

Reign captain Derek Couture's first-period power-play goal on Saturday gave him 83 career goals in an Ontario uniform, tying him with Kyle Kraemer on the club's all-time goals scored leaderboard; his next goal will move him into sole possession of the record. His assist the previous Saturday also gives him 89 career helpers with the Reign; he is two away from passing former captain David Walker (90) for second all-time on the club's assist list.

SCOFIELD SIZZLING:

Tyler Scofield's assist and game-winner on Saturday pushes his point streak to four games, during which he's racked up one goal along with six assists. The forward has settled in nicely in the center position, despite playing much of his pro career in Europe on the wing.

RETURN OF RAMSAY:

Brady Ramsay's return to the Reign lineup after nearly two months on injured reserve was a welcome addition on Saturday, as the forward continually played with a physical edge, at one point dropping the gloves with Bakersfield's Gabriel Verpaelst, and adding an assist on Matt White's game-tying goal.
