Grizzlies Can Clinch Playoff Berth Tonight

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies can clinch an ECHL playoff spot for the second time in three years when they host the Fresno Falcons tonight at the E-Center. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Utah will clinch if they defeat the Fresno Falcons and if the Las Vegas Wranglers defeat the Bakersfield Condors in regulation at Orleans Arena.

The Grizzlies 2008 playoff theme is "Clawing Towards The Cup."

Utah is a proud affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

The Grizzlies at 30-22-1-6 are 11-3-0-4 over their last 18 games and still have nearly a month left to go in the regular season. Utah is unbeaten in their last five games (3-0-0-2).

Tonight, the Grizzlies will also be wearing customized Harley-Davidson jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. All proceeds will go back to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
