Grizzlies Announce First Round Home Playoff Scenarios

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies announced today their home date playoff scenarios for the first round of the ECHL's 2012 Kelly Cup Playoffs which will begin next week.

If the Grizzlies play the Las Vegas Wranglers, which is the current scenario, the series will open Monday and Tuesday at Maverik Center to start a 2-3 best-of-five series.

If the Grizzlies play the Alaska Aces, Colorado Eagles or Ontario Reign, the series will open Tuesday and Wednesday at Maverik Center, also in a 2-3 best-of-five series.

All first round home playoff games will start at 7 p.m.

All first round playoff games will feature $2 Hot Dogs, $2 Fries, $2 Soft Drinks and $2 Draft Beers; in addition to $7 student tickets when presenting valid ID at the arena box office. Playoff packages are available starting at $16 and include both first round games and can be purchased through the Grizzlies Corporate Offices or calling (801) 988-8800.

The Grizzlies finish the regular season Friday and Saturday in Bakersfield at 8:10 p.m. each night as they look to solidify their 15th season of .500 or better in the 18-year history of the organization.
