Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced on Tuesday the dates for their home games in the first round of the upcoming 2012 Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The opening round of the playoffs features a best-of-five games format. The Jackals, who are guaranteed either the first or second seed in the Eastern Conference for the postseason, will have up to three home games as the higher seed in the conference quarterfinals.
The Jackals will be home on Friday, Apr. 6, Saturday, Apr. 7 (if necessary), and Monday, Apr. 9 (if necessary) for the final three games of the first round after going on the road for the opening two contests against all opponents besides the Wheeling Nailers. If the Jackals meet the Nailers in the first round, Elmira will be home for the first two games on Tuesday, Apr. 3 and Wednesday, Apr. 4 and then return to First Arena for the fifth game on Monday, Apr. 9 (if necessary).
All first round home games will begin at 7:05 p.m.
Jackals fans have the opportunity to reserve their seats for the first six home playoff games by purchasing a playoff six pack, available by calling (607) 734-PUCK (7825) or by visiting the First Arena Box Office. Fans can also download a printable form by clicking here and either bring it to the First Arena Box Office or fax it to (607) 733-2237.
This no-risk offer guarantees either a refund for any playoff games not played or a credit toward 2012-2013 season tickets. The six pack also offers a $2 discount per seat during the postseason.
Season ticket holders must purchase a six pack by the evening of Friday, Mar. 30 to guarantee their season seats for the playoffs.
Individual game tickets for the playoffs will go on sale once the Jackals' opening round opponent is determined.
