Chicago Express News Release
Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, play their final two home games of the 2011-12 regular season this week at the Sears Centre Arena.
The action starts on Wednesday, March 28, as the Cincinnati Cyclones are in town to battle for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. As with all of our games, fans can participate in the Chuck-A-Puck game during the second intermission. Chuck-A-Pucks are on sale in the concourse during the game, and can be purchased for $1 per puck, or $5 for six pucks. Prizes include tickets to future Express games, an autographed replica jersey, and an oil change from Biggers Chevrolet. Winners of the Express tickets and oil change are also entered to win a trip from Apple Vacations or a big screen TV.
Following the game on Wednesday, two Express players will be joining fans in the club for autographs. Stop by and meet two of the guys, and get pictures and autographs. A club ticket is not required to take part in the autograph session.
The doors open at 6:00 pm, with the puck drop at 7:00 pm. To get tickets to Wednesday's game, click here.
Friday, March 30, is the final Dollar Friday of the season, featuring one dollar beers and one dollar hot dogs. The specially priced beers and dogs will be served until midway through the third period. Friday is also Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Union Pacific and Operation Lifesaver, at the Sears Centre Arena, which will kick off as fans can grab a Team Photo as they enter the building. The Express will also be giving away vouchers for foam pucks, courtesy of Union Pacific and Operation Lifesaver. The vouchers can be redeemed at the Chuck-A-Puck table as fans exit the building.
During the game, fans will have plenty of opportunities to snag free Express swag. Hats, t-shirts, and jerseys will all be given away to lucky fans throughout the game. There will also be a new twist on the Chuck-A-Puck prizes during the second intermission. Instead of being entered into a drawing to win an Apple Vacation, the person closest to the Apple Vacation marker will win the vacation on the spot! A drawing will still be held for previous winners.

Fans are also invited to enjoy Trax Town, courtesy of the Great American Insurance Group, during every home game. Admission to Trax Town is free with your ticket to the game, and includes fun hockey related games such as air hockey, bubble hockey, Gockey, inflatable puck shots, and NHL 2012 on different video game platforms.
