Utah's Engelage Named Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Andrew Engelage of the Utah Grizzlies is the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 19-25. It is the second time this season, and the fourth time in his career, that Engelage has won the weekly honor.

The 23-year-old was 2-1-0 with a 1.30 goals-against average and a save percentage of .951 in three appearances for the Grizzlies last week.

Engelage opened the week with 23 saves in a 6-1 win at Idaho on Wednesday and followed that up with 31 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss against Colorado on Friday. He ended the week with 23 saves in a 6-1 victory against the Eagles on Saturday.

A native of Oshawa, Ontario, Engelage has appeared in 50 games with the Grizzlies this season posting a record of 24-21-3 with two shutouts, a 2.68 goals-against average and a save percentage of .910. He ranks fourth in the league in wins, is second with 2,910 minutes played and is third with 1,307 saves.

Engelage has appeared in 101 career ECHL games with Utah and Reading going 50-40-8 with four shutouts, a 2.86 goals-against average and a save percentage of .908. He has also appeared in 12 American Hockey League games with Toronto.
