Grizzlies and Aeros Renew Rivalry Tonight at the 'E' Center

The Grizzlies (17-40-1-4) will begin a stretch tonight that has them playing four games in the next five days all versus Western Division teams from Texas. The Grizzlies and the Houston Aeros (30-24-6-3) will play tonight and Friday night at the 'E' Center with Houston owning a 3-2 season series advantage with five games remaining. The teams have had a rough series thus far with 510 penalty minutes handed out. Houston has been a part of three consecutive shutouts winning just one of them and is just 1-3 in their last four games. Tonight begins a four-game road trip for the Aeros. Utah is 1-2-1 on their current six-game home stand with the pair of games versus Houston remaining. The Aeros are trailing Cincinnati by four points in the Western Division for the third playoff spot and lead Grand Rapids by four points for the fourth playoff spot.

Tonight's Storylines:
· Jarrod Skalde has goals in each of the last two games, no Grizzly has scored goals in three consecutive games this season
· Utah's 17 shots on goal Saturday was the second fewest this season in a single game and the fewest in a victory since Dec. 31, 2003 when Utah defeated Grand Rapids 1-0 with just 14 shots on goal (a franchise low)
· Martin Sonnenberg played in his 400th AHL game on Saturday versus Cincinnati
· The Grizzlies have been outshot in seven of their last eight games (32.5 - 25.0)
· Utah has been outscored 12-6 in their last five games
· David LeNeveu has earned points in four of his last five starts (2-1-1-1) allowing 12 goals
· The Grizzlies signed left wing Eric Labelle from Rockford of the UHL yesterday
