On Tuesday night, Stanislav Chistov scored twice and Ilya Bryzgalov made 24 saves as Cincinnati shut out Houston, 3-0... In Wednesday's action, 2004 Calder Cup Playoffs MVP Wade Flaherty made 49 saves in his return to Milwaukee, but the Admirals pulled out a 2-1 shootout win over Manitoba... St. John's scored three times in the first period and held on for a 4-2 win over Cleveland.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Worcester and Norfolk meet in a special Wednesday matinee at Scope... The Admirals took a 3-1 decision from the IceCats on Feb. 25, their first win in five tries all-time against Worcester... Matt Ellison has seven points in his last three games for Norfolk, which sits three points out of first place in the East Division... The Admirals are 9-2-0-1 in their last 12 home games... IceCats forward Jay McClement recorded eight points in four games last week to earn the nod as CCM Vector/AHL Player of the Week... Curtis Sanford has surpassed Brent Johnson as the winningest goaltender in IceCats history (63)... Worcester is currently fourth in the Atlantic Division, four points ahead of Providence.

St. John's and Cleveland wrap up their two-game series at Mile One Stadium on Wednesday... The Maple Leafs have won six in a row, moving into a tie for second place in the North Division... Kyle Wellwood's two-point effort in Tuesday's game gives him seven goals and one assist in six games against the Barons this season... Cleveland lost in regulation for just the second time in 10 games (6-2-0-2)... Aaron Gill and Tomas Plihal scored Tuesday for the Barons, who remain three points out of a playoff spot in the North... St. John's is 8-for-25 (32.0%) on the power play against Cleveland in the season series.

Milwaukee improved to 13-1-2-1 against North Division teams this season with Tuesday's win over Manitoba... The clubs meet again on Thursday at the Bradley Center... Brian Finley, who backed up the Moose's Wade Flaherty during the Admirals' Calder Cup championship run in 2004, made 26 saves as Milwaukee won its fourth in a row... Simon Gamache, Wyatt Smith and Tony Hrkac scored off ex-teammate Flaherty in Tuesday's shootout... Finley's 31 wins on the year are third-most in the AHL... Manitoba has just one win in its last 10 (1-6-2-1)... Justin Morrison scored the Moose's lone goal on Tuesday, tying the game with 4:12 remaining in regulation.
