
"Beat the Goalie" at Quiznos

Providence Bruins fans will have the opportunity to "Beat the Goalie" at Quiznos at 63 Dorrance St. in Providence this Saturday, March 19 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Fans can make a donation to shoot on Bruin goaltenders Chris Madden and Matt Underhill to help raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island. In addition, Bruin captain Jay Henderson and defenseman Chris Dyment will also be on hand to give shooting tips. Fans can also make donations to purchase raffle tickets for Providence Bruins souvenirs, as well as for autographs.
The Bruins host the Lowell Lock Monsters on Friday, March 18 at 7:05 p.m., and the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday, March 20, at 4:05 p.m.
Friday's game will be a "McDonald's Family 4-Pack" night. Fans can purchase four tickets and four McDonald's Extra Value Meals, all for just $48. Please note that "McDonald's Family 4-Packs" can only be purchased by logging on to www.providencebruins.com, or by calling the Bruins' ticket office at (401) 273-5000. "McDonald's Family 4-Packs" are not sold on game days.
Scooby Doo, America's favorite crime-solving dog, will be available for Meet and Greet sessions at both of this weekend's games. Scooby will be available one hour prior to each game time, and will remain available throughout the duration of each contest.
Three other community events are coming this Saturday, March 19:
There will be Bruin players at two Advanced Auto Parts locations in Rhode Island from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m. Defenseman Darrel Scoville and goaltender Hannu Toivonen will be at the Warwick store, while Yorick Treille and Martin Samuelsson will be at the East Providence location.
Keith Aucoin and Pat Leahy will be at the Washington Trust Bank at the corner of Park Ave. and Reservoir Ave. in Cranston from 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m. to take part in the PB Xpress Peanut Butter Drive to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Fans are invited to donate jars of peanut butter and enter raffles for Bruins souvenirs.
The Providence Bruins' Dunkin' Donuts Warmup jerseys are currently on sale, only on the team website, www.providencebruins.com. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence. The sale runs through 12:00 noon on Friday, March 25, or until all jerseys are sold.
Tickets for March 18 and 20, as well as all regular season Providence Bruins games, are available online at www.providencebruins.com, all TicketMaster outlets (401-331-2211 or 508/617-931-2000) and the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence box office.
