GRIFFINS COMMUNITY EVENTS - OCT. 24-29, 2017
TUESDAY, OCT. 24
2-3 p.m. - Luke Esposito, Dylan Sadowy and Dominik Shine will visit patients at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (100 Michigan St. NE).
4-5:30 p.m. - Tom McCollum and Robbie Russo will visit children at the Boys & Girls Club - Steil Club location (235 Straight Ave. NW).
SUNDAY, OCT. 29
3:30-5:30 p.m. - Griffins fans and the West Michigan community are invited to attend the grand reopening of Griff's IceHouse West (4444 Holland Ave., Holland). Admission is free. Fans can watch the Griffins practice from 3:50-4:25 p.m. on the red rink, receive autographs from their favorite players and coaches from 5-5:30 p.m., and take to the ice for a public open skate from 4-5:30 p.m. on the blue rink. Throughout the two-hour open house, the Calder Cup, Griff and Finn will be available for photo opportunities; free hot dogs, popcorn and soda will be available (while supplies last); and guests can win Griffins prizes by playing hockey-themed contests.
