Greg Miller Returns to Orlando

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, announced today that F Greg Miller has been returned from the Portland Pirates (AHL), G Maxime Clermont has been recalled to the Albany Devils (AHL) by the New Jersey Devils (NHL), and F Kristoff Kontos has been suspended by the Solar Bears.

Miller was named the CCM ECHL Player of the Month for November after posting 11 goals, 12 assists, a +11 rating in 14 games. He currently leads the Solar Bears with 13 goals and 14 points and is tied for fourth on the team with 14 assists. Miller appeared in six games for Portland from December 12 through December 20, scoring two goals and adding one assist. In his ECHL career, Miller has 78 points (34 goals, 44 assists) in 75 games. He is expected to appear in Orlando's contest against the Florida Everblades tomorrow, Saturday, December 27, at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center.

Clermont has posted a 5-3-0 record with a 3.76 GAA and .873 save percentage in nine games with the Solar Bears this season. Kontos notched four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in 22 contests with Orlando.
