Thunder Strike First but Fall 3-1

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder score first, but allow three unanswered goals and fall to the Bakersfield Condors by a final of 3-1 Friday night at Rabobank Arena. Alex Mallet scored just two minutes into the game for the Thunder as he finished off a beautiful play created by Lukas Sutter and J.T. Barnett, but Bakersfield netminder Frans Tuohimaa proved difficult to solve as he saved every other shot he faced and picked up the win. The Thunder and Bakersfield will square off again Saturday night at Rabobank Arena for the final game in this short two-game series.
