AMARILLO TX, -- Hockey Sports of Amarillo, the local ownership group of the Amarillo Gorillas, is pleased to announce some restructuring and the addition of a new member.

The ownership group is pleased to welcome Gary Thach as a new General Managing Partner to join Bill Tolliver and Joel Smith. Thach, a native of the Dallas area, is a 23-year veteran of Interstate Batteries where he has served in a variety of positions in their corporate office as well as ownership of the Amarillo Interstate Batteries distributorship.

"I am very pleased to be part of the ownership group and I feel my business expertise will serve us well," said Thach, who is married to wife Susan and is a father of three.

Thach replaces Terry Hawthorne as a General Managing Partner. Hawthorne, who served as general managing partner since the ownership group's inception, is no longer with the group, and is pursuing other business interests. The entire Amarillo Gorillas organization wishes him well on all future endeavors.

Hockey Sports of Amarillo has also announced that former Amarillo resident Vic Rosen has joined the ownership group as a new partner. Rosen has been an avid follower of the hockey in Panhandle and of the Corpus Christi Rayz and the St. John's Maple Leafs during time spent in Canada. Vic Rosen currently resides in Corpus Christi, Texas and was an Amarillo resident for at least 10 years.
