Goldeyes Roster Moves: Alsup Released, Caldwell Inactivated

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that right-handed pitcher Wes Alsup has been released and left-handed pitcher Allen Caldwell has been placed on the inactive list, retroactive to June 2.
The Goldeyes now have 20 players on their active roster, including nine pitchers and 11 position players.
Winnipeg begins a seven-game road trip tonight in Sioux Falls against the Canaries. The pre-game show on TSN 1290 with Paul Edmonds begins at 6:30 p.m.
