Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release
WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that right-handed pitcher Eugene Wright has been placed on irrevocable waivers for the purpose of granting him his release.
Wright had a 8.18 ERA and no record with the Goldeyes in seven appearances.
The Goldeyes now have 21 players on their roster, including 11 pitchers and 10 position players.
Winnipeg continues a four-game series with the Sioux Falls Pheasants tonight at Shaw Park. Game time is 7 p.m.
