Goaltender Gherson Rejoins Utah From Chicago

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that goaltender Robert Gherson has been assigned to the team from the AHL's Chicago Wolves.

It is Gherson's second assignment to Utah this season. He made two starts for the Grizzlies January 3 and 6 going 2-0 with a 2.88 goals-against-average and a .902 save percentage.

With the Wolves this season, the 2002 Washington Capitals draft pick was 9-6-0 with a 2.73 goals-against-average and a .899 save percentage.

Gherson will be with Utah when they return to action Friday and Saturday in Bakersfield. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

The Grizzlies return home Sunday at 5:05 p.m., when they will welcome back Idaho to the E-Center.
