Bakersfield Condors News Release
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today a brand new way for folks to get Condors hockey and chow down for one low price, by unveiling the Tickets & Grub Combo Deal.
The Tickets & Grub Combo provides fans with two tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas and an official Condors game program all for just $24. If turkey sandwiches and chips soothe your hunger instead of hot dogs, you can upgrade for just $3 more to get the combo for $27. Purchased individually, the combo saves fans up to $15 off regular pricing - a savings of 35%!
"We are fully aware that this is a tough time for everyone economically so we've been working with Rabobank Arena to give the fans a simple, very affordable option for enjoying Condors hockey," said Condors President Matthew Riley. "To get three hours of great entertainment and eat dinner too for just $12 per person is a darn good deal."
In the middle of a battle for the playoffs, the Condors have nine home games remaining. The combo is available for all remaining home games during the regular season.
Season Ticket Renewals underway with free gifts! Condors Season Ticket Holders can take advantage of early renewal deadlines to get free Condors stuff, while also ensuring that they won't miss any of the action in 2009-2010. The Early Bird deadline this season is March 31, and anyone putting down a down payment corresponding with their payment choice, will take home their choice of one of three Early Bird gifts - a polar fleece blanket, a Condors baseball cap, or a soap dispenser-bobblehead combo. Plus, everyone that qualifies for the Early Bird program will also be entered into a drawing for a $500 shopping spree at the Condors Team Store.
Additionally, the AutoPay option is once again available, and is improved to make payments even easier for season ticket holders. For the first time, AutoPay is extended to six easy payments, instead of five. Fans either paying in full, or signing up for AutoPay by April 30 will get a free Condors Greenwise Tote Bag. The Condors brand-new Extended AutoPay option, which spreads payments over 11 months, also qualifies fans for the Greenwise Tote Bag.
"In speaking with our Season Ticket Holders, the AutoPay option was very popular," said Condors Director of Ticket Sales Jose Rivera. "In this economy, we're also sensitive to making things as easy for them as possible financially, so we have expanded it to six months, and even added the Extended AutoPay program as well, which gives fans the option of making payments during the season."
Season Ticket Holders can get two prizes in one fell swoop simply by signing up for either AutoPay option by the Early Bird deadline of March 31. That will qualify you for both the Early Bird prize, as well as the AutoPay prize of the tote bag. Contact your ticket representative for further details at 324-PUCK (7825). Notes from the Nest: The Condors return to the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for a pair of games against the Utah Grizzlies on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14. On Friday the 13th is the #10 Matt Pope Youth Jersey Giveaway, sponsored by KGET-TV 17, La Preciosa 105.3 and McDonald's. The first 2,000 kids, 12-and-under, will receive a replica youth jersey of the Condors rookie sniper!
Then on Saturday the 14th, the Condors and Grizzlies face off again for the 'What Could Have Been' Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction, sponsored by KUZZ 107.9 and Bud Light. Come take a look at what could have been, as the Condors will sport Bakersfield Brontos specialty jerseys in honor of the team name that was a finalist 11 years ago! The game-worn sweaters will be auctioned off after the game, plus everyone in attendance has the chance to win one of five to be given away! All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Petroleum Shrine Club.
Get Tickets: Individual game tickets may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at Bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
