Ontario's Francisco Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Ontario center Jon Francisco for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #698 at Victoria on Mar. 11.

Francisco was assessed a Match Penalty under Rule 60.4 High Sticking at 8:45 of the third period.

He is automatically suspended and fined under Rule 21 Match Penalties.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Francisco will miss Ontario's game at Victoria (Mar. 13).
