
Glesnes debuts for Union; Homegrowns feature in season opener

FRISCO, Texas. - The Philadelphia Union fell 2-0 in the season opener on the road against FC Dallas on Saturday night. Jakob Glesnes made his team debut at centerback, while four Homegrowns saw minutes on the pitch. The Union held a game-high 50.1% possession and 75% passing accuracy but were unable to find that back of the net. The Union return to action next weekend at Banc of California Stadium on Sunday, March 8 vs. LAFC (10:30 p.m. ET /FS1).
