
FC Dallas Announces Roster for 2020 Season

FC Dallas News Release
Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas announces its full roster ahead of the season opener against Philadelphia Union at Toyota Stadium. The match, presented by AdvoCare, will kick off today at 5PM CT on TXA21, FCDTV, FCDallas.com/Radio and TUDN 1270AM in Spanish.

The 2020 roster has 25 players returning from the 2019 season, including 14 players who appeared in the 2019 MLS Cup playoff match against Seattle Sounders FC on Oct. 19, 2019, where FC Dallas fell, 4-3, to the eventual MLS Cup Champions. Additionally, the roster features 12 Homegrowns this season.
The new additions to the team include MLS SuperDraft 14th overall pick Nkosi Burgess, winger Fafa Picault, Brazilian defensive midfielder Thiago Santos and Homegrown signings, Eddie Munjoma and Tanner Tessmann.
ON LOAN
Two FC Dallas players were announced to year-long loans earlier this offseason, FC Dallas midfielder Pablo Aránguiz is on loan with Universidad de Chile and defender Callum Montgomery is on loan with San Antonio FC.
FC Dallas has also loaned forward Francis Atuahene to San Diego Loyal SC and forward Ema Twumasi to Austin Bold FC on a year-long loans, the club announced today.
Atuahene, Montgomery and Twumasi can be recalled by FC Dallas at any time this season.
JARA'S ARRIVAL
FC Dallas signed Liga MX striker Franco Jara to a precontract on Jan. 21, 2020. Jara will join FC Dallas as a Designated Player upon the opening of the Secondary Transfer Window in July. Jara is currently with Liga MX side, Pachuca, who FC Dallas faced in the 2016-2017 Concacaf Champions League Semifinals.
Transaction: FC Dallas loans Francis Atuahene to San Diego Loyal SC and Ema Twumasi to Austin Bold FC on year-long loans.
