DULUTH, Ga. - The Gladiators (5-5-0-0) return home for the first time in over a week after playing three games in the Palmetto State against the Stingrays and Road Warriors. They'll face the second place team in the East Division, the Florida Everblades (8-2-0-1) for the first of a three-game set. They will play Florida at home today, then head to Estero, Fla. for two games at Germain Arena on Friday and Saturday of this week.

The last time the two teams faced off was on Saturday, Nov. 8 also at The Arena. The Gladiators conceded two goals early on in the second period, but they came all the way back with three unanswered goals to defeat the Everblades, 3-2. Marshall Everson scored a power play goal in his season debut, while Brenden Walker notched the game-winner at 8:51 of the third period.

Glads Notes:

There's No Place Like Home Ice: The Gladiators have won eight of their last 11 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, and 11 of their last 15, dating back to February 25th.

First Up: This season, the Gladiators are 3-1 when scoring first, 3-1 when leading after the first period, and 4-1 when leading after two. This continues a trend from last season, when the team was markedly better when scoring first (22-13-2-0), and leading after the first (16-6-0-0) and second (21-0-0-0) periods.

Batten Down the Hatches: When the Gladiators score three or more goals, they are 5-0, when they allow two goals or less, they are 4-0, and when they have a perfect penalty kill, they are 3-0.

He Ain't Joking Around: Arizona Coyotes prospect Greg Carey achieved the Gladiators' 22nd hat trick last Sunday, bursting out for four goals on six shots against the South Carolina Stingrays. In the midst of that scoring explosion, Carey achieved a natural hat trick, the team's first in over seven years. He became the fourth Gladiator in history to achieve either a four-goal game or score a natural hat trick:
