Allen Americans News Release
Wichita, Kansas - The Allen Americans defeated the Wichita Thunder by a score of 3-0 on Friday night in the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
Americans goalie Riley Gill earned his third straight road shutout, an Americans team record, as he stopped all 45 Thunder shots to earn his 11th win of the season.
"Riley was fantastic again tonight," said teammate Joel Chouinard after the game. He's in a zone right now and stopping every shot that comes his way. That paddle save in the third period was Sports Center Top-Ten worthy."
