Victoria, BC - The Giants overcame a two-goal deficit, and three misconducts, to beat their island rivals 4-3 in a shootout at the provincial capital.
1st Period:
VIC: Kalem Parker opened the scoring with a power play goal 4:51 into the game.
VIC: Overage forward Jake Poole netted a second of the game for Victoria 8:25 later.
2nd Period:
VAN: Julian Cull buried his first of the year to get the Giants on the board on a 2-on-1 rush shortly after a disallowed goal.
VAN: Mazden Leslie tied the game on a bank shot with 0:23 remaining in the middle frame.
3rd Period:
VAN: Carson Haynes put the Giants ahead 3-2 13:15 into the third with a seeing-eye shot from the point.
VIC: Teydon Trembecky tied the game on a breakaway 0:55 later.
