The Wheat Kings finish off a busy week when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors on New Years Eve.

Last Game: The Wheat Kings are coming off their best game of the year defeating the Moose Jaw Warriors 11-2 Friday night. The game featured 11 different goal scorers with all 4 lines capitalizing on at least one goal. Best performance came from the 3rd line of Zakhar Polshakov, Roger McQueen and Tony Wilson who combined for 8 points. Polshakov and McQueen each had career nights. Nick Jones also picked up his second career WHL win after stopping 23 of 21 shots he faced.
Dec 31st VS Moose Jaw Warriors: Tonight the Wheat Kings have a rematch with the Moose Jaw Warriors. The Wheat Kings will have a quick turnaround with limited rest heading into this game. This will be the first time this season they have to travel home the night before and then host a team the next night. In the two games the Wheat Kings have played the Warriors, the Wheat Kings are 2-0, have outscored the Warriors 14-3 and have only taken 5 penalties total.
150th Game: Nolan Ritchie played in his 150th career WHL Game Wednesday night picking up an assist. Mason Ward played in his 150th Game Friday night in Moose Jaw scoring his 4th of the year.
