Montgomery Biscuits News Release

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Biscuits (21-26) had the lead on two separate occasions before the Jackson Generals (20-25) scored ten unanswered runs to beat the Biscuits 12-4 Wednesday night at the Ballpark in Jackson.

The Biscuits led 1-0 and 4-2 before a bases clearing double by Dario Pizzano put the Generals up 6-4 in the fourth inning. Jackson never looked back from there scoring two more runs in the sixth and adding four in the eighth to lead 12-4. Pizzano finished the night with six RBI and a home run shy of the cycle.

Daniel Robertson put the Biscuits on the board first with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. After the Generals took their first lead with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, the Biscuits rallied back in the fourth. With the bases loaded, Hector Guevara drove a ball of Gabriel Guerrero's head in center to drive in all three runs and give the Biscuits a 4-2 lead.

Generals' starter Misael Siverio allowed four runs through just four innings, but the Biscuits could not figure out the Generals bullpen. Jackson relievers went five scoreless innings, allowing only four hits and no walks.

The middle-game of the series is Thursday night at 7:05. LH Blake Snell will take the hill for Montgomery while Jackson will have LH Scott DeCecco on the mound.
