Utah Grizzlies News Release
WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies, in conjunction with the Salt Lake County Library Services, introduced a new library program called *Gather with the Grizzlies* that will get under way on Wednesday, January 28 at Columbus Library at 4:00 PM.
On hand for the face-off party will be Jarrod Skalde, Steve Gainey and Mark Wotton as well as several other Grizzly players and the team's mascot GRIZZBEE.
The sessions will cover four dates and will entail Grizzlies players visiting the different braches of the county library talking to kids, reading books and signing autographs. Everyone that attends a *Gather with the Grizzlies* session will receive a free ticket voucher for the Salt Lake County Library Services Night out with the Grizzlies on Saturday, April 3rd.
*We are extremely pleased and excited to be joining forces with the county library to give kids a great way to come face-to-face with professional hockey players and have a little more intimate time in a close setting,* said Grizzlies Executive Vice-President Jerry McBurney. *Our players love the interaction with the kids and in some cases there are just too many in attendance for everyone to have the opportunity to really get to meet one of the guys. Gather with the Grizzlies will change this.*
There will be sessions at the Smith Library and the Hunter Library also on Wednesday. Both sessions begin at 7:00 PM.
For more information contact the Grizzlies Community Relations Department at (801) 988-8000.
