Columbus Recalls Brad Moran

The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Brad Moran. The team also announced that the Blue Jackets have reassigned center Mark Hartigan to Syracuse.

Moran, 24, has appeared in 41 games with Syracuse this season, recording 12 goals, 23 assists and 18 penalty minutes. In 223 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, Moran has tallied 60 goals, 85 assists and 121 penalty minutes. On January 28, 2002, Moran made his NHL debut with Columbus appearing in three games during the 2001-02 season, without recording a point. A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Moran was signed as a free agent by Columbus on June 5, 2000.

The Crunch host the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday, January 28 at 7 p.m. before heading to Toronto for a 7 p.m. start on Thursday, January 29.
