TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Thunder and Monarchs are back in action again this evening at SNHU Arena in a rematch of last night's game. Manchester was victorious in game one this weekend as it skated to a 5-0 victory over Adirondack, just the second time the Thunder have been shutout this season.

PLAYOFF PUSH: After yesterday's Manchester victory, the two teams enter tonight's action separated by four points at the top of the North Division, with the Reading Royals in third place, five points behind Adirondack. The Thunder will take on Manchester twice more this season, including tonight's game, and are 6-4-1 against the Monarchs on the season to date.

MR. 500: Thunder defenseman Mathieu Brodeur is on track to play in his 500th career professional regular season game this evening. In his career, Brodeur has skated in 181 ECHL games, including 129 with Adirondack, and 318 AHL games. To date, the 6-6 blueliner has played for seven AHL teams (San Antonio, Portland, Chicago, Albany, Syracuse, Springfield, Utica) as well as two ECHL teams (Adirondack, Las Vegas).

FOR THE FIRST TIME: Adirondack saw two players make their professional debuts last evening as Bo Pieper and Ryan Schmelzer were both in the Thunder lineup. Pieper signed with Adirondack from Quinnipiac University, where ranks third all-time in program history with 158 games played. Schmelzer joined the Thunder from Canisius College, where ranked in the top three on his team in scoring in each of the last three seasons.

COMIC CONNY: Thunder forward Shane Conacher has led his team against Manchester this season with 13 points (3-10-13) from seven games played versus the Monarchs. Conacher's total are boosted by a five-point game on March 2 at SNHU Arena that set personal career highs in both assists and points in a game. Overall, Conacher leads the Thunder with 40 assists and 55 points this season.

THIS IS HOW WE DREW IT: Adirondack goaltender Drew Fielding enters tonight's action with wins in each of his past four starts, including a 37-save effort on March 2 in his previous start in Manchester. Over that four-game span, Fielding has turned aside 139 of the 145 shots he's faced, good for a .959 save percentage and a 1.48 goals against average.

BRIAN'S SONG: Thunder forward Brian Ward has found success at SNHU Arena thus far this season with three goals and three assists from five games played, including three multi-point games in that span. Overall this season, the Haverhill, MA native leads all Thunder players with 28 goals, one shy of the single-season franchise record, set in the 2015-16 season by Michael Kirkpatrick.
